that day masa i balik malaysia, wanted to eat at a noodle shop in the pyramid, tapi my father subtly suggested fish&chips (yg dah makan hari2 kat sini). obediently we went for fish&chips. kempunan je ramen .................

auntie de betul, ramen at wakamama is halal tapi kena ask for vegetarian broth (tak vegetarian broth ada pork kan?)

semi joking je about wakamama tu auntie de, tapi dah lama tak pegi kan??

Ohio!!!

last time I was saying how much i missed things like

a) lontong
b) nasi ayam
c) ABC
d) ikan goreng bersalut tepung

any way, I had my chance so I had eaten all of them over the last one month. i also had that nice lamb thing at secret recipe. i think it is irish broth or something

my next target will be more different

a) sushi (at saisaki sushi)
b) len chee kang sejuk
c) some nice ice lemon tea
d) iced blended coffee
e) pizza
f) a steak or two

Hmm as for co-authoring blogs hehehe.. I am not that consistent when it comes to these things...

maybe when me wife is back i will.. looking forward to staying in the new house once it is complete.

Regards

Dear OK
Ye ingat ingat! Kita kat sini makan seafood ramen dekat Yo! Sushi. Having said that, their vegetarian teriyaki is good too.

Good Luck to Auntie De!

Actually am craving for a big juicy kebab. Promised OK (and myself) that I will go get the kebab once the analysis is done. Hehehe time to go now...

Speaking of makanan yang kita kempunan, man i want yo!sushi too! ada Yo!Sushi nearby kat Birmingham, tapi so far tak pernah pegi.

have i told you guys one day i went to a Yo!Sushi alone in London the other day. I was just eating whatever i felt like eating taking all kinds of sushi from conveyor belt. Masa time bayar: i was really shocked.

total i had to pay, for me eating alone was £37.

mental note: lain kali jangan makan sushi macam makan buffet or kenduri kahwin.

still, it was a brilliant, satisfying lunch;)

Wow.
I think that was what we spent on 3 people (we really stuffed ourselves!).
You must've been really famished.
Which one did you go to? Our fave is the one in Whitely's. Tried one of Oxford Street but felt the service and the ramen in Whitely's was way better.

I didn;t get the kebab after all. Made pasta goreng, but opened the wrong one by mistake. I thought they were shell-shaped, but they turned out to be pennes. Memang tak sesuai. Oh well, kenyang jugak.

Mynn, someone (an anak sedara) is asking me the difference between Problem Based Learning and traditional medical traning. Which one did you go through, and was it beneficial? My anak sedara will be filling in the UCAS form this year. Would appreciate your expertise :) (He said he will belanja me a Honda Civic. Yeahahahaha, maybe he can get you one too).

Auntie De
Jangan terbayang-bayang sushi/kerabu mangga bila tengok kertas exam sudah (hehehe something similar once happened to me. Also pernah lagu Kylie terngiang-ngiang dalam kepala. Hawau sungguh).
May Allah make it easy for you, ameen.

LOL pasal terbayang2 lagu kylie masa tengah exams. I've had a similar experience in the past, but it wasnt lagu kylie. it was a soundtrack to one anime, but ive forgottened which one. but that was funny.

Actually, KKL, probably because so much has changed nowadays regarding medical training, i actually don't know what a "problem based training" is. Auntie de tau ke? seriously, everything changes very rapidly and i'm not that up to date with what the medical schools are up to nowadays. (sounds to me macam a "marketing" term je).

the Yo!Sushi i was talking about IS the one on oxford street, very near oxford circus (i think opposite HMV or something).

i don't think i ate much (not like 10 plates of stuff), but i did take absolutely WHATEVER i felt like, that's why it was expensive.

tapi i puas hati so dont mind:)

Thanks for the quick reply. I think PBL tu macam case studies. In which case I also had that in my non-medical degree. But I think he might've confused the module/block system as opposed to the canon anatomy, physio, patho subjects being studied separately.

My anak sedara is also asking me about costs of living etc. Should I tell him that in London the motto is 'biar papa asal bergaya'? :D

Yo! Sushi tu memang satisfying. We had the mochi (macam pau eh) and the er, chocolate thingumajig. Apa ke namanye ntah. And ramen. Next time I want to splurge on sashimi. Yum yum. Oishikatta! The one we went to is in a tiny alleyway (next to Boots) and it had a fancy outdoors modernist water feature with picnic tables all round.
