Our Long Weekend: Friday

In this city where Lady Godiva once divested, the day has been radiant with sunshine. We thought it'd be a good day to bring our sun-deprived little ones to the park for a picnic (we deliberated on buying them Happy Meals & sundaes). At the park, Sarah enjoyed a run around the expansive landscape, while Amar happily slept.

Later on as we reached home, we were pleasantly surprised to find Uncle and Auntie De paying us a visit from Nottingham for Amar's birthday. What a fun weekend!

The orange and green thing in the picture is a "bouncing castle" Uncle & Auntie De very kindly bought for Amar's birthday.

We busted our biceps pumping air into the godforsaken lovely castle, a process that took a whole evening of hard labour. But still, a hearty thank you to Uncle and Auntie De! Amar loves the castle, and I needed the exercise;)

Thank you for visiting us uncle and auntie de! we had a great time.

That's the great thing about writing blogs as we could post things practically in "real time". I think by now you guys had only just reached Nottingham.

See you guys again tomorrow in Notts!

ps.
The cute girl in pink is the latest member of the De family, Safya. The boy standing proud in blue (lower right picture) is their first son, Emyr).

They're a young couple arent' they? Hence the "De" (De = Muda; Malay for young)

The bouncy castle looks like a lot of fun! How come there are no pics of the kids jumping on it? :D

There are no kid bouncing on it cos uncle de wanted it all for himself! LOL. only joking uncle de. In the picture, the castle was not quite ready yet. it's absolutely huge, imagine the number of pumps we had to do to fill the whole thing up.

but it was fun
