These pictures are of the ward I was working in, my friends I worked with and an insight to our daily routine (okay, regarding the last bit - not quite, I'm not allowed to show pictures of patients).
Racking our brains on difficult cases and situations (yesterday was a patient with hypercalcaemia)
---
---
Forcing the PRHO to do all the writing, notes and most importantly PR (per rectal)) examinations, only joking James!
---
---
Liase with the neighbouring teams for referrals (with a smile)
---
---
"Okay, we'll accept the patient." was the answer.
---
---
Our happy-go-lucky, and hardworking nurses
---
---
After a hard day's work, we are lawfully obliged to take a break. Normally that would be in our tea-room. Our code name for the tea breaks was "Journal club". For example, "Mynn, let's go to 'Journal Club'. What would you like to discuss, 'Ceylon' (tea) or 'Columbia' (coffee)"?
---
---
Our two registrars in discussion
---
---
During tea-breaks we would discuss cases as well as exchange stories. It really helped strengthen the intra-team and inter-team bond and morality.
---
---
The charismatic ward sister
---
---
These two people are like our Google, a place where we look for answers
---
---
Three nursing ranks as indicated by the uniform colours
---
Here is where we'd fall asleep, if we're tired from the night before (again, sorry James! Haha)---
---
Eddie to James, "The prostate was this big, you know."
---
---
Team from the neighbouring ward

Pictures of the juniors in our team. Unfortunately the only picture with me is this blurry one!
Anyway,
Seriously, it's been fun working in Naseby with these funny, friendly and fun people. No more pink shirt Fridays without these guys.
ps
guys, if you want higher resolution pictures than the ones above, email me here.
- Thanks Eddie, for being our Google of information
- Thanks Abhishek for teaching me: To make other people happy you first have to be happy and contented yourself. (Surprisingly I came to the same lesson myself a couple of years ago, hearing it again was shocking really).
- James Sr for teaching me hedgehogs could swim.
- James Jr for teaching me the word "imbibe"
- Someone said, "It's okay to look at the appetisers as long as you have dinner at home. "

Lepas ni kerja hospital mana pulak? Katanya nak buat Cardiology posting? Baguslah tu. Sebab kalau buat Cardio, balik Malaysia memang senang dapat Datukship. Tengoklah bilangan Cardiologist muda yang bergelar datuk di IJN, hehe..
Amacam Mama Sarah....siap ler kita kena nyanyi lagu Datuk M,M,M,M...
Doctors memang always hang out dekat nurse counters and pantries ker? Memang tak de desk for doctors eh?

the pictures show our typical mid-morning break: hanging in our tea room drinking tea and coffee with the whole team and the neighbouring ward. the pictures on the top half are of our ward and "our" station/main desk. there is where the files and computer are for checking blood results. unfortunately because i was the one taking pictures, the only picture of me is the blurry one right at the bottom.
man, was i depressed after work yesterday. tu yang tak tulis apa2 in the entry above tu.

They put me oncall the first day I start the new job! The past 2 days have been extremely busy and tiring for me, aduh.
anyway:
1. happy birthday KKL! Thanks for the announcement o-K.
