The above has been Puan Mama Sarah's and my project over the weekend i.e designing a new banner for her blog. PMS' concept was simple - she wants a banner hand-drawn as if Sarah herself. However, with GIMP/Photoshop I said we should add things like lens flare to the sun, motion blur to the butterflies, a depth of field effect to the sakura tree and multiple shades on the clouds and sun (all with the magic of layers, see?).
In the end though, Puan Mama Sarah ended up not using the banner so I thought I'd put it up on my blog instead, you know, not to throw the hours of work away just like that. Most of the drawn elements in the picture was drawn by Puan Mama Sarah as well as the colour scheme.

I was a bit confused intially. "Who are those two people in the picture? Sarah and Amar? Or could it be Mynn and Mama Sarah? Or perhaps FIL and MIL...."

insya allah i'll explain it to you later when i can (skrng nak jalan2 with the family, hehehe) but i've posted it before. but the concept is: you have to upload the banner to something like photobucket, then paste the address on the template of your blog.
however dith, your blog already looks beautiful as is, kan???

you're asking the obvious, my friend. it's a tale of amar and sarah so it should be a drawing of both of them frolicking under a sakura tree :) amidst monstrous butterflies and thorny looking grass that is, and an alien world where the sky is green!

The banner is nice (though I wonder why you coloured the sky in green? If Saghah yg choose the colour I don't mind.) And the (sakura?) tree in the background is nice too.
