Just a brief update, again sorry for not updating the blog for ages. I've just finished a loooong week of nights oncall. Back to the main subject, my brother Azim is finally out of hospital after a 3rd and hopefully final surgery. Above is the final result from the skin graft; the skin was transplanted from his thigh.
Azim has a follow up with the plastic surgeon on Monday, to assess how well the transplanted skin is growing. He also has appointments for plastics physiotherapy, to mobilise his hand and prevent restrictive contractures.
He is currently staying with his good friends in Belfast. Hopefully all will go well for him.
