... oh yes ... and Photoshop helps

Dyanna asked me in a comment in one of the posts below on how some of the pictures on the blog looks "clear and sharp" (according to her). I've mentioned a few tips, but there was one obvious tip I forgot to add ...

(read the title)

yup, Photoshop or Picasa2 helps a lot. I don't really Photoshop all my pictures displayed on the blog - but I do Photoshop most of them. Above is an example, compare it to the non-Photoshopped in the post below. The above picture would go to my Fotopages, I think.

(I'm also replying to your comments in previous post).

Yup, that's very true. I've looked at lenses, and they're not cheap like nasi lemak, i tell you... it's quite a big decision to 'jump into' that area, i think. I guess I need to master the understanding light and lighting to get more brighter pictures.

However, takkan la nak kena edit every picture. Even guna Picasa pun penat tau.

yup, to get pictures that are close to what you envision the picture to be, photoshop is a must. some may argue though. having a dslr is an expensive hobby, and i deferred buying one for 1-2 years before giving in ...

I successfully gone through 1 year without buying one :)

Hi Mynn! It's been ages since I've dropped by what with the audit and what not (ever heard of the Joint Commission International?).

Anyhow, I agree with you, Photoshop is a life-saver in some instances. Of course, being the photographers that we are, we would like to say "those were untouched, unedited" about all our photos.

How I wish that was true!

And in the case of simple point-and-shoot cameras (like mine), Photoshop does help. A lot
