Apologies again for neglecting the blog. Lately in the UK, the weather has been extremely schizophrenic - windy, stormy and rainy at times and sunny at others. Last year during the same months, the weather had already reflected the summer season with hot days just inviting for outdoor barbecues and activities.
It's a big disappointment that we are trapped indoors by the moody weather. Sometimes literally! Last week it was raining so hard that they had closed a motorway due to floods and I was forced to stay at the hospital until 8pm. A friend lost a car she had bought only 5 days prior to the floods, brand new. She is currently awaiting to hear from her insurance company but word is, she may not get any compensation as flooding is considered an "act of god". (They get religious when it suits them, don't they?)
Anyway, we were relieved that yesterday evening, there was a short break to the rain & wind. We took the opportunity to take Amar & Sarah out to stretch their legs (and minds). Longford park was our sanctuary and the following are our pictures:

they looked shocked in that picture because in order to get their attention I had to shout that a dog was approaching their way :)
