Scotland: Panoramic View

Guys, Uncle De contributed this beautiful, spectacular panoramic view of Edinburgh from on top on of the hills. Make sure to click it in order to see it in full resolution. I thought the picture was stitched veryyyy nicely indeed and trumps any of my previous efforts using GIMP or Photoshop Elements.

He used Panorama Perfect Lite for this work, it's free but apparently resolution is limited and you could see blurry seams on the picture (I can't).

Anyway, in the picture you could see many things described in Puan Mama Sarah's Scotland entry in the picture above. If I have time later, maybe I'll further GIMP the picture to include text descriptions or something...

Thank you for the picture Uncle De. (If I'm not mistaken, taken with his High Definition Sony videocamera).

From Arthur's Seat ke? I wanted to climb it but having climb two hills that day, decided against it. Just a preliminary exercise before bagging any Munro, teehee.

ps: Uncle De, anda sangatlah merenyam. ;)

Lovely pic indeed. Rasa macam nak tgk kat skrin yg sebesar2nya.. hehe.

When i was there i took my pics from the opposite hill seen in the pics! hehehe.. Mine were looking inland towards the other set of hills (the one the picture was taken from) - how ironic...

Uncle De
Hey she's taken la. awek tu macam dah ada baby je.

tak sangguplah nak mendaki tinggi sangat bawak Amar & Sarah. Auntie de sampai terketar lutut katanya. btw, i had to ask nisak "merenyam" tu makna apa. nisak kata it means: gatal, ye ke?

yeah, uncle de is very creative and quite an adventurous photographer. one of the days at around 5am, he ventured alone to the beach to capture the sunrise. (and it was a cold too!)

O-K, yeah, we were thinking of you and pycno during our visit - i bet you guys have seen everything while you guys were here.

This pic must have surely been taken from Arthur's seat.

You were in Edinburgh too, OK? When exactly?

mynn,
tak tahu maksud merenyam? :-) betul la apa yg PMS kata tu..n antihistamine surely not effective for 'merenyam', but for gatal, yes..:D

o-k dulu kat "glasgay" <- that's how he'd say glasgow, with a scottish accent. is that really how you say it FM?

o-k
hmmm, that's an eyebrow raising "everything" with many hidden meanings...

FM
LOL, dung dang dung dang & antihistamines.

I don't think merenyam is a word they use where I come from (ye ke O-K?)

Did my A-levels up in Crieff, but every week would either go to Perth (Pearth), Stirling, Glasgow (Glasgae) or Edinburgh (Edinbra - hahaha).

Several times I would skip breakfast, hop on the first bus to Perth, took the morning train to Edinburgh, go walking in edinburgh the whole day then go back on the train to Perth, took the last bus to Crieff.. hehe.. and arrive after dinner just in time for Prep.

I was in Scotland 95-96. Then moved to London.
